FABulous Ice Cream cakes!

These are my favourite bakes I have made to date! They were for a Summer is coming party and everyone loved them, especially the birthday girl!

Snickerdoodles and Oreo Cupcakes

 Snickerdoodles - huge success!

Mini Oreo cheesecake cupcakes - not sure I'd make these again! 

So many cookies!

White chocolate chip and cranberry cookies, chocolate orange cookies, chocolate chip and raison cookies, honeycomb and chocolate chip cookies, yoghurt coated raspberries and chocolate chip cookies. I got very carried away making cookies for a pool party and ended up with almost 70. All the flavours were delicious, however the overall favourite was the white chocolate chip and cranberry. And they didn't last long, not even until the end of the first day!

Because so many people at work love pigs!

Cinnamon Buns

A couple of friends begged me for ages to make cinnamon buns and eventually I got round to it. When I was in the middle of baking I realised I didn't have enough brown sugar for the cinnamon sugar filling, luckily in the fridge was a jar of chocolate spread, perfect for chocolate chip buns! To be honest, I wasn't too impressed with the end result but it was my first attempt. However, work colleagues loved them and there weren't any left by the end of the day!

The World

This cake was for someone who means the world to me! He also happens to work for a travel company so well themed. In fact they were so impressed it featured on the global newsletter! 

These cupcakes were a birthday treat for a special person. They are from the Hummingbird Bakery Cake days book, a fabulous collection of recipes! Banoffee pie cupcakes and Lemon Meringue cupcakes. These were a huge success and had a lot of requests for cakes from other friends!

Creme Egg Brownies

Jamie Oliver's squidgy brownies with an extra ingredient...Creme Eggs! The office loved them and now I am inundated with requests! maybe next time I'll have to use something less seasonal!

House warming treats

These are chocolate chip whoopie pies,bourbon sausage dog biscuits and caramel thumb print cookies.

My friend had a Mexican themed dinner party so i made some cupcakes for the dessert. Just as well as it turned out this dinner party consisted of just alcohol and no food - needless to say these cupcakes went down a treat!
